My grammar is bad enough without needing to worry about pronoun punctuation :) However, it is worth mentioning as many people follow that construct. As for me, a simple ‘Sir’ goes a long way to making me happy. Other than that, in general, it is welcomed to reach out and express interest in potential Masters.
